About Fluffy Tails

The Grooming Area

Fluffy Tails is based in a secure, separated section of the house.

You'll find easy road-side parking just outside,
and are asked to come to the front door at your allotted time.
Just ring the bell, or pop a message when you arrive.

The grooming area is cleaned between each dog,
including disinfecting all equipment used on your dog, the table and the bath.

Treats can be offered during and after grooms,
please be sure to let me know if your pet has preferences, or has any allergies/intolerances!

Your dog won't ever be in a cage during their stay,
including pairs from the same household that arrive together.
In this case, it is asked that dogs are able to settle calmly while they wait for their turn,
but they will be free to move, sniff, and relax as they wish.

About Fluffy Tails

Fluffy Tails came about namely due to my own labradoodle, Charlie.

I brought home a very fluffy puppy and wanted to be able to take care of him and his fur, so completed a City & Guilds dog grooming course based in Llysfasi College.

This course allowed me to learn all about coat types, health and safety, handling dogs, and maintaining a hygienic grooming area. I also attended seminars run by Julie Harris to learn about a dog's anatomy, and completed a first aid course to help look after your pets while they are in my care.

This all led me on to create Fluffy Tails in our converted garage, from designing how to set up, to picking out some of the best products available - gentle, safe shampoos, quiet clippers, nail grinders for those that hate nail clippers.
All of the accessories are hand-made by Megan, and each groom is finished off with a mini photo session.

All of this means that Fluffy Tails has been specifically made to cater to 1 on 1 dog grooming in a calm, homely environment, where they are given my full attention - something which I am proud to offer and hope that you get in touch to discuss booking your dog in for an appointment.
